Awards

Twelve awards categories. One winner in each.

The first application-based excellence program in Kuwait to span multiple awards categories of organizational performance. Organizations apply, compete, and are judged, and in every awards category, one organization per cycle earns the title.

The program

How the program works.

Application-based excellence awards are a proven international format: organizations submit evidence of their performance, an independent panel judges it against published criteria, and the strongest entry wins.

What this program adds is a rigorous foundation. Proof, not claim, clear assessment criteria, unbiased review: all based on strong customer experience foundations.

The result is a program where recognition is earned twice: first in the data, then in the judging.

Enterprise and SME tracks

Judged separately, honored equally.

Excellence is not a function of size. Where an awards category is open to both, enterprise organizations and SMEs are assessed in separate pools against the same standards of evidence. Each award states the tracks it runs in.

An SME never competes against a bank, and an SME's win means exactly what an enterprise's win means: the best in its class, in its country, in its cycle.

SME or Enterprise?

Enterprise track

Always Enterprise:

  • Banks, insurance or investment companies, telecoms, airlines, and utilities
  • Public-sector and state-owned entities
  • 10 or more branches together with 15+ years of operation

Open in all 12 awards categories

Excellence in Social Impact has its own route for non-profits.

The program’s highest honor. Scored across an organization’s entries in at least four awards categories.

Entrant questions

Questions from applying organizations.

  • Organizations operating in Kuwait, across all sectors. Eligibility is assessed against the program's threshold requirements. Any organization sponsoring the program may not enter it. Applicants must be an existing legal entity in the private, public or nonprofit sector, registered and operating in Kuwait. A valid commercial or regulatory registration is required at the time of submission.

  • Entry fees are charged per awards category submitted. Fees will be published in full on this site before entries open, so no organization will start an application without knowing the cost. Every entry fee also includes a confidential diagnostic summary, showing your score against the anonymized average of all entrants in your awards category.

  • More than one. Organizations may enter as many awards categories as they can evidence; each awards category requires its own submission and is judged independently against its own criteria.

  • Each awards category recognizes excellence in one area. The Organizational Excellence Grand Award recognizes an organization that excels across many of them, which is why it’s the program’s highest honor. There’s no separate application: it’s calculated from an organization’s scores across the awards categories it enters. To be considered, an organization must enter and be scored in at least four of the ten eligible awards categories.

  • No. Only winners are announced. Entries that do not win are never disclosed, and scores are never published for any entrant, so applying carries no reputational risk. Every entrant still receives a confidential diagnostic summary showing how its score compares with the anonymized average.

  • Typically the CX, customer service, quality, or marketing lead, with input from whoever holds the performance data. Most successful entries are written by one owner who gathers evidence from across functions, then reviewed by a senior sponsor before submission.

  • Expect to describe your approach, how it was implemented, and most importantly, the measurable results: performance indicators, before-and-after data, and supporting documents relevant to your awards category. The entry guide details the evidence requirements awards category by awards category. Evidence must relate to your organization's own operations in Kuwait and, unless a specific item says otherwise, to the 24 months before the submission deadline. Accepted file types are images, Word documents, PDFs, audio/video files, Excel files, and URLs.

  • The application is a structured written submission against clear criteria. Most teams should plan for two to four weeks elapsed, with a few working days of focused effort. Gathering the evidence is what takes the time, not the form itself. An entry guide with templates is provided when entries open.

  • Yes. Every submission receives confirmation of receipt, and entrants are notified once the completeness review of their application is finished, and again at each key stage of the cycle.

  • Yes. If reviewers need clarification on any part of your submission, the awards team contacts you with a defined window to respond, before judging begins, so no entry is ever scored on a misunderstanding.

  • Judging is based primarily on the written submission and its evidence, and the panel may request written clarification where needed. On occasions, an interview by one of the judging committee members with the applicant may be requested upon the discretion of the judges panel.

  • Yes. After the cycle, every entrant receives a confidential diagnostic summary showing its score alongside the anonymized average of all entrants in its awards category. Win or not, you leave with a clear, independent picture of where you stand.

  • Winners receive an official winner mark for use in marketing, communications, and corporate materials, together with usage guidelines specifying the permitted claim wording and the period of use. Winners may use the official marks only as set out in the brand guidelines, and must name the category, track, and year: for example, “Winner, Excellence in Service Recovery, Enterprise, 2026.”

One Standard

One winner. No tiers.

Each awards category names a single winner per track and cycle, selected through blind, independent judging informed by customer data, and verified by external audit before results are sealed. There are no tiers, and no winners' circle large enough to dilute the honor.

A win here means one thing: in your awards category, in your track, in this cycle, no one did it better. And win or not, every entrant leaves with a confidential diagnostic of where it stands.
